OOTN / MOTN (Fete # 6)

Fete number six was a small All Inclusive last Saturday night and so I opted for a simple look. Ate to my hearts delight lol. I paired a black high-waist shorts with a plain turquoise v-neck vest. I didn't get a full length picture but I wore flat cream and gold sandals to match with my cream and gold necklace and cream and gold bangle. My eye shadow from my NYX Bohemian Chic Nude Palette (green, brown & gold smokey eye), eyelash extensions, highlighted and contoured with NYX full coverage concealer in Beige Beige and Nutmeg Cascade respectively, Blush by MAC in pinch me, Milani Baked Bronzer in Glow and for lipstick colour Fiesta. Simple can always be effective with the right touch of course. Xo

Below is a close up view of my eye-shadow comprised of green, brown and gold from both my Sacha & NYX Bohemian Nude Palettes. (Both photos unedited and unfiltered)

    1. Thanks Jiszy! I'm probably the only person that still uses pencil lol but it works for me. For this look I used Jordana eyeliner pencil in 06 dark brown and mixed it with Theons eyebrow eyeliner pencil in dark brown kohl and I highlighted my brow bone with Sacha Fix-It Concealer in matte beige.

Mini make-up haul

Small make-up haul  Hey everyone! I've just started gathering products for my make-up kit and I went out on Saturday and picked up these little beauties *love struck smiley*. I got a chance to use everything so far so I just want to share with y'all my views. The L'oreal true match foundation in W6... umm not my favourite, it's a bit light for me which is weird since the W6 powder matches harmoniously to my skin. I'm hoping it's the tan I got from the beach last week and being out all day Saturday, will definitely give it another chance. Other than it not matching my skin tone it's perfect, it goes on smooth (with the correct brush of course, I used the MAC 188 foundation brush), it's lightweight, gives medium to full coverage and gives a nice 'glowy' finish. I love this foundation, I usually use MAC studio fix fluid but this is a nice cheaper alternative for everyday use. Milani Illuminating face powder in Hermosa Rose.. I cannot get en...

Simple Glam (Night out with the girls)

Hey everyone, club season is back and in full swing in Trinidad and as opposed to carnival the fashion for ‘clubbing season’ as it’s fondly called is two very different things. Let me explain, carnival has a more casual fashion outlook mainly because most of the events are outdoor, the capacity of patrons at one event also the nature of a fete (live performances etc). Club fashion has more of a glamorous outlook because of its indoor nature consisting of ‘little black dresses’, skirts, blazers etc. My first after carnival outfit was this black and white, close-fitting, above mid-knee length, armhole, cotton dress. I immediately fell in love with it because I can dress it up or down. I like unique pieces but I absolutely love clothes that I can dress up or down. I paired it with black pumps (sorry I didn’t get a shot of them). I wore a pair of mid-size silver hoops, a silver ring, white & silver MK watch and a black clutch with silver lining. When going for a glam loo...
