OOTD / MOTD (Fete # 7)

 Hey everyone! Here is another make-up and outfit look! This outfit was selected for Altitude, a party held at Fort George Sunday evening. I love this pair of pants because I can dress it up or down depending on what I want. I choose my clothing first and that helps me decide on what type of make-up I want. I matched these green trousers with a brown, orange and gold bustier and added a brown twined belt to match and I completed my look with my beige strappy wedges. Less is always more when coming to accessories and jewelry. I wore my gold body chain and a thick pair of large gold hoops; on my wrists I wore a gold watch on one hand and a gold and cream bangle on the other. (Not seen in the photos, as I put on the watch after I took these pictures)
I was dressed up twice already for the weekend so for my makeup I decided that I would just opt for heavy winged eyeliner in black with just highlighting eye shadow (tear duct and under brows). The bustier was browns and gold, so I wanted a nice soft glow. I used minimal foundation, I highlighted and contoured, blush and bronzer on my cheeks, baby pink lips, and eye lash extensions, I lined my lower lash line in white to give my eyes a pop, since I hardly slept all weekend. There are a lot of factors to consider when choosing your make-up but the most important factor in my opinion is being able to choose the right colour and shade. If your base make-up such as your foundation isn’t the correct shade for your skin, it can throw off your entire look. Jordanna Lipstick Mini Haul

From left Mauve, Hot Pink, Plum Obsession & Radiant Red Finally getting around to doing this! It’s no secret that I am a lipstick fanatic so of course I went to the mall and ended up getting some pretty Jordanna lip colours and I just thought I’d share.  What I like about these lipsticks the most are not only are they affordable but they’re durable too. Jordanna comes in handy for everyday use like work etc; I also use them for evening and night glam depending on what lipstick I need.  Once they’re set properly (lip liner etc) they look gorgeous and they last a good couple of hours. I picked up three regular colours (in the silver packaging) and one matte colour (in the gold packaging). I’m not a big fan of matte lipsticks because sometimes they can be extra drying on your lips and crack but I tried this one and it’s not overly drying. It’s matte but with some moisture which I love.

My addiction (make-up haul)

Since school is out and there’s no traffic, I've had extra time to browse around beauty supply stores before and after work (don’t ask lol). So far this week I’ve been able to pick up a few things that I’ve been meaning to get for a while now. I haven’t gotten a chance to use any of these babies yet but I promise as soon as I do I will post my reviews. NYX Mosaic Powder Blush in Café – I saw this and instantly fell in love.  I love that this is mild and not too pigmented, it’s perfect for giving me that gorgeous glowing finish that I’m obsessed with. NYX HD High Definition Eye Shadow Base – I came across a review about this particular product on youtube and decided to give it a try. I haven’t gotten the Urban Decay Primer (that everyone has been raving about) as yet so I would use this in the interim.
