What's in my make-up bag!

My beloved makeup bag  <3
Okay so I finally got around to doing this (lol). Before I proceed let me just say that I am not a professional make-up artiste or have I ever claimed to be. I am a beauty enthusiast and blogger which in a little less fancy words, is someone who has a passion for all things makeup and blogs. I love make-up, I love trying new products and I loving sharing what I learn, it’s that simple.

My make-up bag is far from having everything that I wish I could have but I purchase things as I go along according to what my finances can manage because y’all already know good make-up ain't cheap. Oh and yes I do have lip & eyeliners but I don't carry them in make-up bag unless, it's what I used that particular day. Having all in my make-up bag makes me lose them :(. I do also have a smaller make-up bag that I carry everyday for work etc. which contains just a face powder & powder brush, blush & blush brush, lipstick I'm wearing that day, lip gloss and clean & clear oil absorbing sheets, I call it the 'touch up kit'. So without further ado, these are the things in my makeup bag, 'The Essentials' I call this one.

MAC liquid foundation
Mac pressed blot powder
L'oreal true match face powder
My two favourite blushes - Pinch me by MAC & Terra Sole by Milani.

My bronzers/highlighters - Milani Hermosa Rose & NYX Cafe

My beauty blender & a beauty blender dupe (which I had first)

Sacha Fix-it spray. Holds make-up in place.

Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeliner gel dupe - Jet cosmetics eyeliner gel in brown

Basically my 'eyebrow kit' Mac NC 45 Studio Finish Concealer for above brows because it blends perfectly with my complexion & I LOVE THIS Sacha Fix-it Concealer for under my brows because it's two shades lighter than my complexion and gives the perfect highlight.

Tweezers. The need for these are always at the strangest times so it's in my bag.

NYX Full Coverage concealer in nutmeg muscade, I use for contouring.

Life without mascara is no life at all. Maybelline The falsies volum' express.

Urban Decay eye shadow primer potion.

Jordana felt-tip liquid liner, not my favourite though, trying another brand soon.

L.A Girl Pro.conceal HD.high-definition concealer.

Not leaving home without it - EOS Lip Balm.

All my other lipsticks are in a case on my dresser but this baby goes where I go. Milani - Nude Creme.

NYX soft matte lip cream in San Paulo

L.A Colours Jumbo Eye Pencil in Sea Shells

It's only obvious

Milani Face & body bronzer.

Last but not lease, my babies, 'Le brushes'

Mini make-up haul

Small make-up haul  Hey everyone! I've just started gathering products for my make-up kit and I went out on Saturday and picked up these little beauties *love struck smiley*. I got a chance to use everything so far so I just want to share with y'all my views. The L'oreal true match foundation in W6... umm not my favourite, it's a bit light for me which is weird since the W6 powder matches harmoniously to my skin. I'm hoping it's the tan I got from the beach last week and being out all day Saturday, will definitely give it another chance. Other than it not matching my skin tone it's perfect, it goes on smooth (with the correct brush of course, I used the MAC 188 foundation brush), it's lightweight, gives medium to full coverage and gives a nice 'glowy' finish. I love this foundation, I usually use MAC studio fix fluid but this is a nice cheaper alternative for everyday use. Milani Illuminating face powder in Hermosa Rose.. I cannot get en...

Simple Glam (Night out with the girls)

Hey everyone, club season is back and in full swing in Trinidad and as opposed to carnival the fashion for ‘clubbing season’ as it’s fondly called is two very different things. Let me explain, carnival has a more casual fashion outlook mainly because most of the events are outdoor, the capacity of patrons at one event also the nature of a fete (live performances etc). Club fashion has more of a glamorous outlook because of its indoor nature consisting of ‘little black dresses’, skirts, blazers etc. My first after carnival outfit was this black and white, close-fitting, above mid-knee length, armhole, cotton dress. I immediately fell in love with it because I can dress it up or down. I like unique pieces but I absolutely love clothes that I can dress up or down. I paired it with black pumps (sorry I didn’t get a shot of them). I wore a pair of mid-size silver hoops, a silver ring, white & silver MK watch and a black clutch with silver lining. When going for a glam loo...
