My addiction (make-up haul)


Since school is out and there’s no traffic, I've had extra time to browse around beauty supply stores before and after work (don’t ask lol). So far this week I’ve been able to pick up a few things that I’ve been meaning to get for a while now. I haven’t gotten a chance to use any of these babies yet but I promise as soon as I do I will post my reviews.

NYX Mosaic Powder Blush in Café – I saw this and instantly fell in love.  I love that this is mild and not too pigmented, it’s perfect for giving me that gorgeous glowing finish that I’m obsessed with.

NYX HD High Definition Eye Shadow Base – I came across a review about this particular product on youtube and decided to give it a try. I haven’t gotten the Urban Decay Primer (that everyone has been raving about) as yet so I would use this in the interim.

Milani Lipstick in the colour Sweet Nectar – This a bright orange lip colour that I kept putting off getting, not too sure why though because orange is one of the colours that works best for my undertone. Will definitely rock this soon & do a review.

Orly Nail Polish in the colour Boho Bonnet – Now if you know me you would know that it takes me a little time to decide what colour to get my nails done in (by little I mean hours lol). I browsed around all the nail polishes for about 20 minutes which is record time probably because I was late for work. When my eyes fell on this baby which by the way is on sale for $20.00 at Wonderful World (Center City Mall, Chaguanas) I immediately knew she was going home with me. J

Last but not least I got this 2nd Love Eyeliner Gel in Brown – I saw it being featured on Arlene Villarule’s Instagram page as a dupe for Anatasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in dark brown. I usually still use pencil to fill my brows (yes in 2014) but of course if Arlene recommended this there's no doubt I would try it. Change is good I guess.

Got all the products above at Wonderful World except for the last one which I got at Pennywise.

    I got the gel eyeliner too. I don't like it for brows...I much prefer my dark brown eyeshadow that I always used.

      Kavita, I just use it to line the bottom of my brows & I still fill with my pencil and brush it out with an eyebrow brush because it's too dark for doing the entire brow.

Jordanna Lipstick Mini Haul

From left Mauve, Hot Pink, Plum Obsession & Radiant Red Finally getting around to doing this! It’s no secret that I am a lipstick fanatic so of course I went to the mall and ended up getting some pretty Jordanna lip colours and I just thought I’d share.  What I like about these lipsticks the most are not only are they affordable but they’re durable too. Jordanna comes in handy for everyday use like work etc; I also use them for evening and night glam depending on what lipstick I need.  Once they’re set properly (lip liner etc) they look gorgeous and they last a good couple of hours. I picked up three regular colours (in the silver packaging) and one matte colour (in the gold packaging). I’m not a big fan of matte lipsticks because sometimes they can be extra drying on your lips and crack but I tried this one and it’s not overly drying. It’s matte but with some moisture which I love.

LOTN - 'Enchanted' (Review)

Lipstick number two out of the three that I purchased from the Intense Collection by SACHA. In my last post I talked about the texture etc.. and I also mentioned why I absolutely love these lippies.
